I chose DCL for dialysis nursing because I like the non-profit aspect of the company. I enjoy the hospital group because of the autonomy I get to perform from day to day in my job, the different types of patients we care for, and the variety of locations and types of patients that we care for. I also enjoy the relationships we build with the provider we work with in dialysis , each specific patient’s needs, as well as the dialysis team and the other healthcare teams at each hospital that I get to work with to provide the best patient care possible each workday!

I love working at DCL! It is easily the best place I have worked. The equal benefits for all employees is amazing. We are all apart of a team that strives to help our community which always makes me feel good. Every employee is always welcome to assist anyone that needs it.

Joey - Purchasing and Inventory Assistant

DCL truly cares about the patients and their well-being. That alone makes it not only a great place to work, it’s a place I can be at and spend time with the best coworkers. Everyone helps each other out and we have built bonds that help you get through any situation. I feel blessed to have such special people in my life.

I have worked for DCL for the last 23 years in various positions.  I have been provided with opportunities for growth, new skills, knowledge and so much more.  I am incredibly grateful to be a part of an organization that works as a team to provide the best care to our patients.

Heather - Patient Accounts Manager

I chose DCL because of my experience working in dialysis. Later, I learned amazing qualities about the company, such as a nonprofit organization, community involvement, and giving back to those in need. My decision to remain working with DCL is based on the discipline I see in my coworkers, great work ethic, longevity, and support from all.

Starting at DCL has been an amazing experience. From day one, I could see how much the team truly cares – not just about each other but also about the patients we serve. The support & kindness from my coworkers & leadership has made me feel welcome and valued, and I’m proud to be part of the team.

Working at DCL is both rewarding and fun! The people here are awesome, and the culture is all about teamwork, support, and having a good time while getting things done. Communication is effortless, which makes teamwork smooth and work itself even more fulfilling. We also get fun food days! Great coworkers , good vibes, and snacks- what more could you ask for?!

I chose to work for the Dialysis Center of Lincoln in the Home Department when I was at a point in my life where I felt like I needed a home. I did not feel like I belonged and personally needed a change. This change was for the better. HDL is a great place to work and it’s a privilege to get to teach our patient’s how to take back control of their own health. In teaching them to perform dialysis in their own homes, it gives them back control of their lives. It allows them to continue to work, spend time with family or loved ones, stay at home, or travel all while receiving the medical treatment they need.  My coworkers are amazing, and a common goal is shared amongst the staff to make each day they best it can be for our patients.

Why DCL? Because over the years, I've felt a real sense of community, not just a group of co-workers.  Working with the patients three times every week has helped to build relationships with them as well.  Management is always there to troubleshoot and help me to be the best DCL staff member I can be.

Kristine - LPN

Working at DCL is rewarding to me since I get to spend real quality time working with my patients. Since I get to see them at least once a month, we get plenty of time to really tackle how nutritional effects their health and well-being. My goal is to help my patients feel confident in their own ability to nourish themselves, know how food effects their bodies, and teach that ultimately, food is meant to be enjoyed and not feared. Food and nutrition is my passion and working at DCL gives me the opportunity to share this message.
